The challenge
Found the right course on the website? Great! But how do we make sure enrolling goes smoothly afterward, without people having to fill in everything again? And once they're enrolled, they want to see at a glance what, where, and when. Changing details or canceling a course should be just as simple. In short: one place where everything is taken care of.
The solution
We built a customer portal that works seamlessly with the website and the data solution. Preferences users entered earlier are automatically carried over at enrollment. In the portal they then find everything: from start date to class location. Submitting changes or canceling a course is handled there too. Parents or guardians can manage multiple enrollments from a single account, with no juggling of separate logins.

Alongside the new website and data solution, we saw a need for a place where users can handle everything themselves, behind a login. Together with Scholen in de Kunst, we mapped the user journey, from enrolling to managing courses, and identified opportunities and pain points. That led to the plan for a central, secure, and user-friendly customer portal.
We worked step by step toward a customer portal that is technically smart and easy to manage. The connection with the website and data solution means everything works together automatically in the background. User details, preferences, and enrollments are processed instantly and without errors. Together with Scholen in de Kunst, we thought through the right features, a logical structure, and a pleasant user experience.
Now that the customer portal is up and running, the focus is shifting from building to optimizing. Together with Scholen in de Kunst, we're working to improve service for current students. By giving the portal a more prominent place, users get faster access to relevant information and support. That's easier for students and more efficient for the team.
