Everyone deserves a good night's sleep
Beddenspecialist, part of Sleeptrade, gives people personal, well-founded sleep advice. Its unique Meetbaar Beter Liggen ("Measurably Better Lying") method and independent sleep measurements help customers get the best possible night's rest. The Beddenspecialist stores are run by experienced, independent entrepreneurs with a passion for sleep comfort. Their mission? To help everyone enjoy better, healthier sleep.
The challenge
Beddenspecialist works with independent stores that are known locally under their own name. People don't search for Beddenspecialist.nl, they search for the local store they trust. Every store has its own range, and that range has to show up in the webshop. At the same time, the website has to stay centrally manageable. The challenge? Combining local recognition and customization in one central environment.
The solution
We built a central platform in which the webshop and the website are fully integrated. Every store gets its own environment with a recognizable name, range and look and feel, while management stays central. That gives every visitor a personal, familiar experience and keeps the technical structure clear and scalable. The result: easier use, better findability and higher conversion.

Together with Beddenspecialist and Sleeptrade, we dug into their wishes, goals and technical challenges. How do we support multiple suppliers within one webshop? How do we use our data solution, ADAPT, for central range management? And how do we make sure every store page works the way the entrepreneur needs it to, including an appointment module that takes local availability into account? These insights formed the basis for the technical and strategic choices in the project.
With a clear plan in place, we started development. We brought the webshop and our data solution ADAPT together, so all product information is managed centrally and shows up on the site automatically. We also built a system in which every store has its own manageable page. The appointment module got a smart upgrade too, with logic that links bookings to the right store and takes opening hours into account. The whole site runs on Umbraco CMS, so both Sleeptrade and the store owners can easily make changes themselves.
We stay actively involved in the platform after launch. We track how visitors use the webshop and appointment module, and make targeted improvements based on data and feedback. We also support Sleeptrade and the store owners in managing their online environment effectively, so the platform keeps evolving. That keeps it stable and lets it grow with their ambitions. Thanks to this scalable solution, Beddenspecialist.nl has a digital infrastructure that is ready for the future and for growth.
What we achieved together
Since the launch of the new Beddenspecialist website, results have gone up and management has become much more efficient. More appointments, more contact moments and all Beddenspecialist stores managed centrally on one powerful platform. Smarter for the team, better for the customer.
